~No open display of weapons, including but not limited to, firearms, knives, blades, etc.
~No Golf Carts within the Soldiers Reunion festival footprint, unless approved by the Soldiers Reunion Executive Board
~No biking, skateboarding, skating, rollerblading, or riding scooters (with the exception of medical/handicap scooters) within the Soldiers Reunion festival footprint
~No Fireworks
~No open containers of alcohol allowed within the Soldiers Reunion festival footprint for Car Cruisin’ & Reunion Day Events
~No Public Intoxication
~No Use of Illegal Drugs
~Drones and/or Unmanned AirCrafts are not allowed to be flown near or within the Soldiers Reunion festival footprint*****IF ANY OF THE ABOVE LISTED RULES & REGULATIONS ARE BROKEN, YOU WILL BE BANNED FROM PARTICIPATING IN ANY SOLDIERS REUNION SANCTIONED EVENTS!!*****

~All vendors must furnish all materials needed to operate.
~Trailer size, including the tongue, must be taken into consideration when purchasing spaces. Please note: Each space purchased is 10’ x 10’.
~The sale of alcohol is STRICTLY PROHIBITED!!
~Once you are in your assigned spot, you will not be allowed to leave, due to the streets being closed.
~Due to limited space, space rental will not be guaranteed until the registration fee is received. IF YOU CANCEL REGISTRATION, PAYMENT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR ANY REASON. You will be given a space rental credit for the next year’s Soldiers Reunion.
~You are responsible for making sure there is no grease left on the streets and sidewalks. If you are found leaving grease behind, you are at risk of facing clean-up fees and/or fines by the City of Newton. Please utilize the grease disposal located behind Newton Antiques & Collectibles (20 W 1st St. Newton, NC 28658).

~There is no need to register for this event. The Soldiers Reunion Staff may take attendance at the event itself, but no registration is required. This is also a free event to attend and participate in.
~Entries are limited to Low-Speed Vehicles such as, golf carts, gators, side-by-sides, ATVs, UTVs, etc. Soldiers Reunion Staff does reserve the right to ask you to park your vehicle, if it does not meet the criteria decided on by the Soldiers Reunion Executive Board.
~The cruisin’ speed limit that will be strictly enforced will be 10 mph. If you are found exceeding this speed limit, you will be asked to leave the cruisin’ circuit.
~The Soldiers Reunion Event is not responsible for any accidents, damages, or theft that occurs at the event.
~There will be no judging of carts that will take place, therefore there will be no awards given.
~Park only in designated areas or where told by an Official Soldiers Reunion Staff Member
~No loud music will be played by any participant of the event
~No Burnouts Allowed!

~Vehicles that are years 1972 and earlier will be the only vehicles permitted to participate in Car Cruisin’.
~All vehicles must display an Official Soldiers Reunion Car Cruisin’ window placard of the current year in order to participate in the display of the cars and cruisin’.
~The Soldiers Reunion Event is not responsible for any accidents, damages, or theft that occurs at the event.
~There will be no judging of cars that will take place, therefore there will be no awards given.
~Park only in designated areas or where told by an Official Soldiers Reunion Staff Member or Volunteer
~No loud music will be played by any participant of the event
~No Burnouts Allowed!
~Everyone is to be back at their car by 4:30pm, any vehicle left unattended at the start of cruisin’ will be towed at owner's expense

~Any Parade Entry (Trailers, Cars, Trucks, etc.) must be street-legal and able to pass a current safety inspection.
~Due to the best interest of the public’s safety, no entry in the parade should throw anything (candy, pens, merchandise, etc.) to the crowd/spectators. If you wish to pass out any of the previously mentioned items, you should walk them to the crowd/spectators and hand the items to them.
~All entries should try to incorporate a patriotic theme, such as Red, White & Blue decor, flags, etc. to honor our veterans.
~USE OF CONFEDERATE FLAGS IN THE PARADE: In order to recognize all veterans of conflicts from Catawba County, the executive board of Soldiers Reunion Inc. has adopted a policy that only accredited Civil War reenacting units may fly a single Confederate Flag during the parade. The flag must be constructed of materials and in the manner common to those in 1861-1865. This unit must belong to a nation-wide association and be able to provide proof of current, active liability insurance.
~Once you reach the end of the parade you are not to stop, you are to continue back to your starting point to avoid traffic jams and disruption to the flow of the parade. If you must stop to unload participants, please utilize the designated “DROP-OFF LANE” and be as quick as safely possible.
~3:00 pm South College Ave (from Bus.321 to D Street) will be ONE WAY traffic (flow of traffic with be going North)
