Due to the best interest of the public’s safety, no entry in the parade should throw anything (candy, pens, merchandise, etc.) to the crowd/spectators. If you wish to pass out any of the previously mentioned items, you should walk them to the crowd/spectators and hand the items to them.

USE OF CONFEDERATE FLAGS IN THE PARADE: In order to recognize all veterans of conflicts from Catawba County, the executive board of Soldiers Reunion Inc. has adopted a policy that only accredited Civil War reenacting units may fly a single Confederate Flag during the parade. The flag must be constructed of materials and in the manner common to those in 1861-1865. This unit must belong to a nation-wide association and be able to provide proof of current, active liability insurance.
